Mr. Kingsley in his short but interesting discourse pointed out different qualities a CEO must have to avoid failure in his business or company. “The CEO is the life wire of the business. Your failure or success is measured by how much you deliver. A CEO should be a great leader who is capable of steering the ship”, he said.
Mr. Ugochukwu Chris enlightened the audience on things to put in place so as to access loans and funding from banks. “It’s difficult to prove you own a business without a bank statement. You can’t also access finance without keeping adequate record of your transactions. Therefore, you must have good management skills, be located in an urban area and have a game plan so as to access funds from banks”, he said.
He also pointed out why small businesses fail and advised business owners accordingly by pointing out the 5C’s of lending which are Character, Capacity, Condition, Collateral and Capital.
The event was not just talks but interactive as an avenue for people to connect, meet and greet one another by sharing business cards and fliers was created.
