Mary Mary Join Stevie Wonder In Boycotting Florida Following Zimmerman Acquittal
Veteran gospel duo Mary Mary have joined iconic singer Stevie Wonder in boycotting the state of Florida until the state abolishes its Stand Your Ground law.
The duo announced their decision via Twitter on the 18th of July, and have vowed to stick to their decision.

The stand-your-ground law is a type of self-defense law that gives individuals the right to use reasonable force to defend themselves without any requirement to evade or retreat from a dangerous situation, and was cited by the judge who ruled in favor of George Zimmerman.
Reports had earlier come online that artists like Jay-Z, Rihanna & Justin Timberlake had reportedly joined the boycott, but these have proved to be false.
